RAIN OUT PROCEDURES

Whenever rain is in the forecast, this is the place to look for information.  As soon as we are certain that games are rained out it will be listed on this page.  DO NOT CALL THE COMPLEX!  Calling the Complex only slows the process.  Unless it has been raining hard for many hours, no decision will be made until 5:30 pm on the day of the game - except on Sundays the decision will not be made before 4:00 pm.  Please understand we are talking about the Belleville Softball Complex only - at all other city parks the umpire makes the call at or about game time, which is normally 6:15 - 6:30 pm, except Sunday then 4:45 - 5:00 pm.  When the umpire at a city park notifies us that their games are rained out we will update this page.  Please be patient and understanding - as we all want to play every game as scheduled, if possible.  Also, remember that games stopped in progress will (if meaningful in the standings) be finished from the point stopped - so keep excellent records.

Games Rained Out

1. Monday, April 28 - All games are rained out!
2. Friday, May 2 - All games are rained out!
3. Wednesday, May 7 - All games, all parks are rained out!
4. Sunday, May 11 - All games, all parks are rained out!
5. Wednesday, May 14 - All games at the Belleville Complex are now rained out!
6. Friday, May 30 - All games at the Belleville Complex are now rained out!
7. Monday, June 2 - All games at the Belleville Complex are now rained out!
8. Tuesday, June 3 - Belleville Red Field and Potawatomi games are rained out.
9. Friday, June 6 - ALL league games are rained out.
10. Sunday, June 8 - ALL GAMES, ALL PARKS - are now rained out!
11. Sunday, June 15 - Only Boland Park is still playable now - - all other sites are rained out!
12. Sunday, June 22 - Late games rained out.
13. Thursday, September 4 - Belleville Solftball Complex and Boland Park are rained out.  Potawatomi was washed out at 7:10 pm.
14. Monday, September 8 - ALL GAMES, ALL PARKS are rained out.
15. Monday, September 15 - Belleville Softball Complex is RAINED OUT!  Games at Boland and Potawatomi are OK to play.
