INDIANA AMATEUR SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION, INC.
The 2008 Region 2 Spring Commissioners Meeting & Player / Team Reclassification Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, March 15; 9 am at the O'Brien Recreation Center. The O'Brien Recreation Center is conveniently located on South Bend's south side at 321 E. Walter St. Player reclassification shall start promptly at 9:30 am. Please print, complete and fax the 2008 Player Reclassification Form to arrive at least one week prior to the meeting.
The following championship events have been scheduled for 2008. For more information please contact ASA District Commissioners: John Byers, Bob Waters, Ron Summers, Ed Bellows, or John Walczewski at the Belleville Softball Complex Office or email: softball@southbendin.gov.
The entry deadline is usually two (2) weeks before the tournament event. Entry fees for 2008 are $250 which must be paid by cashiers or certified check payable to: Indiana ASA. Teams must submit their entry fee check and an "Indiana ASA Official Tournament Entry Form" before the deadline in order to enter. The ASA tournament roster, "ASA Official Waiver & Release of Liability & Indemnification" should be completed less player signatures and should be hand carried to the tournament and submitted before the teams' first game.
